The Car Book Names Hyundai Genesis and Sonata “Best Bets”

The Hyundai Genesis and Sonata were honored with The Car Book’s 2016 “BEST BET” distinction.

For 36 years, The Car Book has selected vehicles for this recognition based on how well they respond to the performance and safety needs of American car buyers. The ratings consider crash tests, fuel economy, warranty, maintenance and repair costs, insurance costs and complaint history.

Quality and Value

“Hyundai continues to exceed customer expectations in terms of build quality and standard features,” the company noted. The Sonata offers midsize roominess and available hybrid efficiency, while the Genesis sedan – which became the Genesis G80 – delivers luxury at a remarkable value.
