Hyundai Debuts the Ioniq Hybrid

Hyundai debuted the Ioniq, the first vehicle designed from the start to be offered as a hybrid, a plug-in hybrid and a fully electric car on one platform.

The Ioniq Hybrid pairs a 1.6L direct-injected engine with an electric motor and a six-speed dual-clutch transmission – delivering a more natural driving feel than many hybrids – and was rated among the most fuel-efficient cars in America.
