Ford Shelby GT-H Comes Back to Hertz for 50th Anniversary

In 1966 Hertz offered something no rental company had before: a Shelby Mustang GT350H you could rent at the airport. The black-and-gold “Rent-a-Racer” became a legend. Fifty years later, Ford, Shelby American and Hertz are bringing it back.

The 2016 Shelby GT-H

• Built on the Mustang GT with its 5.0-liter V8
• Limited to 140 cars
• Classic Shadow Black paint with gold stripes, as on the original
• Ford Performance handling upgrades and Shelby styling
• Available to rent at select Hertz airport locations
