Ford Performance Releases “Project RX”

The Ford Focus RS RX was designed to be the ultimate rallycross vehicle in the FIA World Rallycross Championship. To show how it came together, Ford Performance released Project RX, a four-part documentary series.

Built by Three Teams

Ford Performance engineers collaborated with UK-based M-Sport and Ken Block’s Hoonigan Racing Division. They used the same high-tech instruments and procedures used to develop production vehicles – computer simulation, wind-tunnel testing and rig testing – to develop the Focus RS RX for competition.
