Ford Introduces the Kansas City-Built MVP Edition F-150 Pickup

Kansas City celebrated its 2015 World Series champions in a uniquely Midwestern way: with a pickup truck. Ford introduced a limited run of 300 F-150 MVP Edition trucks built at the Kansas City Assembly Plant in Claycomo, Missouri – just down I-70 from our stores in Lawrence and Topeka.
A Customer’s Idea
The truck was suggested by a Ford customer and follows a great tradition. In 1986, after Kansas City won its first professional baseball world championship, Ford built the Ranger MVP edition. Thirty years later, the F-150 MVP Edition carried the torch.
Built for the Fans
The MVP Edition featured special Royals-inspired blue paint and unique badging, celebrating the team and the thousands of workers at Kansas City Assembly who build F-150s every day. Midwest Ford Dealers also renewed their sponsorship of the Kansas City Royals for the 2016 season.
